We have an immediate opening for a full time position as a production assistant in our growing shop. Duties will include:
- CNC operation
- Product packaging
- Finish operation support
- Other duties will evolve
We are a small production shop focused on fine furniture made primarily in wood. Within our small team each maker has a workbench and the work is project-based, not assembly-line style.
The production assistant primarily makes furniture parts and shipping boxes on the CNC, packages our products and assists in the finishing process.
Related experience is preferred but not required. The job comes with extensive training as long as you have some level of woodworking experience. An eye for detail, a drive to learn and a team spirit are some of the most important qualities we’re looking for. Pay will start between $15-$17/hr based on initial level of applicable experience and will increase with learning and time on the job.
