Is the finish durable?
We use a clear catalyzed varnish that preserves the natural beauty of the wood while offering excellent protection from spills, heat, etc. It’s maintenance free and you can clean it simply with a damp cloth. Spills should not be left to soak. Items hotter than a cup of coffee should be placed on a trivet or other protective surface.
Do I need to wax or oil my piece?
Because our finish is maintenance-free, waxing or oiling is not necessary or recommended.
How do I clean my furniture?
You can clean most of our pieces simply with a damp cloth.
Are your pieces made from solid wood?
Most of our pieces are made from solid wood. For parts where special dimensional stability is required, we use veneer over a stable core panel. Examples include the inset panels of headboards and the inset side panels of some nightstands and dressers.
How will my furniture be delivered?
We ship all over the lower United States via white glove delivery, UPS or freight, depending on the size of the piece and the destination. All shipments are guaranteed damage-free. That means that if there’s a problem (rare) we will fix or replace your piece with no hassle. See our delivery page for more info.
I only see a few wood options. Can I order my piece in different woods?

Do you stain your pieces?
We love the natural color and grain of the woods we use. So we use a clear finish with no stain for most of our pieces. That said, we understand that sometimes you’ve just gotta have a special color, so we do provide stain-matching services by request. Contact us to discuss your needs.
